We believe that by overcoming adversity we are able to better preserve our cultural identity while earning personal accomplishments and cultural honors along the way.
The goal of Hmong American Peace Academy is to develop educational and community service centers that provide the Hmong community in Milwaukee a safe, rigorous, cultural and language enrichment, and offering all students a college and career preparatory education.
HAPA works to solve problems through peaceful and productive measures. We encourage our students to use their cultural strengths to contribute positively to the community.
While both academies have expanded over the course of their short history, the school will continue to grow. Some of our future expansion plans include adding an early childhood center, adult education center and Hmong culture and research center, as well as a social service center to meet the needs of the refugee population.
